Started in 2001, the HumaniTours is a project of Kids Without Borders (www.KidsWithNoBorders.org). It is a once in a lifetime opportunity to go on a vacation, and at the same time make small differences in many people's lives.

Ba Vi

Today we traveled to Ba Vi, less than 2 hours by car outside of Hanoi. Our friends and colleagues from Buffalo Tours will introduce us to three service centers in Ba Vi for orphans, street children, elderly and children with disabilities (some are connected to Agent Orange).

We met up with Roni from Artists for Orphans (Australia), Ros (Rotary in Australia), Susan and Alison (California) for our visit to the Thanh Xuan Peace Village. This center is a rehabilitation and vocational training center for children with disabilities linked to Agent Orange. Kids Without Borders (and Rotary) has been supporting this center for more than 10 years.
We brought along two large bags of new clothes and toys for the children.

Kids Without Borders 17th HumaniTour Viet Nam

Bags are packed. Our group of 12 people will bring along 10 bags packed by Kids Without Borders volunteers. The bags are filled with donated gifts: new babies/children clothes, toys, and four laptop computers.
We will meet up in Viet Nam with our friends from Australia. They are representatives of an Australia-registered non-governmental organization Artists For Orphans (AFO) and a Rotary club in Australia.

Visiting the Go Vap Orphanage and meeting some of Kids Without Borders volunteers, one is a 13 years old school student and two teachers from England (both are currently live and work in Saigon).
We also dropped off one laptop computers, new babies/children clothes, and some dental care and hygiene supplies.
